We resource local growers, farmers and businesses to provide fresh food to Bakersfield families every month. Bakersfield is ranked #1 for “food hardship” in the United States. The irony is uncanny. Kern County grows food and ships it all over the world, and our own population is hungry.
We had to do something.
Every fourth Saturday of the month we join together to pack fresh food boxes, pray for the families we serve, and distribute fresh food and hope around our City.
“Why spend money on food that will do you no good? Why spend money on food that will not satisfy you? Listen, listen to me and I will tell you where to get food that is good for your soul.” - Isaiah 55:2
